Did you know that the Board of Nursing recently changed a question type on the NCLEX?
Select-All-That-Apply questions, frequently known as SATA questions, have received a slight update. This question type is the variation where you have the option to pick more than one choice in order to answer it correctly. Previously, SATA questions always had at least two answers as the correct ones. You would never have a question where you would select one or all of the answers and be correct.
That is no longer true! You now may receive a SATA question where the correct answer is only one of the choices, some of the choices, or ALL of the choices.
This changed a while ago, but many of the old books do not reflect this change so be sure to know the real NCLEX rules on test day.
