Tutors

Lisa Chou (formerly Lisa Brass) has been tutoring formally for NCLEX since 2012, but she has been teaching nursing much longer than that. Her love of teaching began with running a study group in nursing school and hasn't stopped!  Her teaching style involves patience, humor, and the ability to explain complex topics in a way that anyone can understand.

Availability: Available through the Basic and Deluxe Memberships in weekly semi-private tutoring sessions. Available for private tutoring by request.

Debbie Brass is a retired registered nurse with 35 years of med/surg and OR experience with which to enrich your sessions together. She has always enjoyed teaching and needed a second career after a shoulder surgery that left her unable to do regular unit floor work. Then her daughter said, "Hey, I have an idea..." Debbie's teaching style involves the perfect selection of what information is ideal to study and a fervent dedication to the textbook.
